Mr. Jared Mummert

Hello! My name is Jared Mummert. I am excited to begin a new year as the Assistant Principal at Upper Adams Intermediate School. I am a graduate of Chambersburg Area School District. After high school graduation, I attended Shippensburg University where I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. I earned a Master’s Degree in Instructional Technology from Wilkes University and completed the Principal Certification Program at York College.

I began my teaching career at York City School District where I taught 7th and 8th grade Math for five years.  I spent two years with Hanover Public School District teaching 7th and 8th grade Math. While at Hanover, I also had the opportunity to be the High School Girls Assistant Volleyball Coach and the Middle School Girls Head Volleyball Coach.

My wife and I enjoy living in this wonderful community. We have two dogs we like to walk around our neighborhood. We will also be hosting two exchange students again this year, and they will be attending Biglerville High School. 

I look forward to another wonderful year! I know our Canners are going to achieve great things!
