How Upper Adams Intermediate School came to be

Construction for the current Upper Adams Intermediate School began with a Ground-Breaking Ceremony in September of 2019 at the site of Arendtsville Elementary School. Construction continued throughout the 2019-2020 school year. There was a brief delay during the COVID-19 outbreak. However, Bendersville Elementary School was still able to close it's doors to students and staff at the end of the 2019-2020 school year. The Upper Adams Intermediate School (a merger of both Arendtsville Elementary and Bendersville Elementary Schools) made it's debut with the start of the 2020-21 school year.
