Learning Commons Mission

Our mission is to form successful users of information by providing access to the world of cultural and social ideas for personal enjoyment and educational needs.

The School Library Media Program is an integral part of student achievement at Biglerville High School/Upper Adams Middle School.  Equitable and timely access to information and ideas is provided for all students and staff in an atmosphere that promotes a joy of reading and life-long learning.  Through consultation and instructional partnerships, the School Librarian supports planning in all curricular areas by facilitating learning and developing instructional resources.  An integrated instructional program ensures all students and staff are effective users of ideas and information.
