• All employees, and all contracted individuals of Upper Adams School District must obtain a Pennsylvania State Police Criminal record Check, a Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance, and an FBI Federal Criminal History Clearance (fingerprint background check) prior to working in the district that are within one (1) year of employment. As of January 1, 2015, all employees in school districts must obtain new clearances every five (5) years.

If an employee refuses to submit the form, Act 24 requires that the School Administrator submit the employee to a new background check under Section 111.
