• Welcome to my ESL class!  I provide support for students and their families who are English Language Learners.  Despite not being fluent in Spanish, I would hard to keep the lines of communication open between myself and the families  service.  

    Students that I service may receive pull-out services in a variety of ways.  it may be a replacement of all or part of theier English Language Arts (ELA).  Alternately, some students receive push-in support in the regular ELA class with small group instruction as needed.  Sone students may also receive supplemental ELA support in lieu of Social Studies.  Finally, for some students I consult regularly with their Learning Support teacher to provide support as needed.

  • hug During this time, I am working closely with the ELA teachers to design instruction to help our students to continue to learn and grow while providing the support necessary to help your child be successful.  

    I know that this is a stressful time for everyone including, or maybe most especially, our children.  Please know that above all your child's mental and emotional well-being are more important than academic skills.  How they felt during this time will stay with them long after the memory of what they did during thos four or more weeks is long gone.  I will do my best to keep thiis in mind.  I hope you, the parents and caregivers, will continue to do this as well.
