4th Grade Classroom
  • Welcome to your child’s classroom!

Welcome to our 4th-grade class! My name is Mr. Gomez. I will be your child’s Language Arts, English, and Social Studies teacher. You can learn more about me on my About the Teacher page.

I am enthusiastic about the 2021-2022 school year. We have a group of fantastic students entering 4th grade, and there are limitless possibilities ahead for learning. As a new 4th grader, your child is transitioning into a learning environment where there is more responsibility in the classroom, assignments and homework. With your help, we can make this transition a success. This website is a resource to help you learn more about what is expected, as well as a guide to various supplemental resources. For example, weekly Reading Unit Review activities from our Wonders Reading Program will be posted to the Reading/Language Arts link. This website will be an extension of our in-person classroom. For example, you will find information about  subjects, classroom activities, expectations, and upcoming classroom events. Updates to pages will occur on a regular basis, so please continually check back for new information.

As we go through the school year, if you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me by phone, email, or Class Dojo.

Let’s make it a great year!

    Mr. Gomez

    • Operation Bundle Up-There is still time to help our Student Council collect warm hats, gloves, and mittens for those that need extra help staying warm during the cold winter months. The last day for collecting items will be on Friday, January 28, 2022.

Thank you for your Operation Bundle Up donations and continued support!

    • The Canner Book Castle will be open soon!

Each month the Canner Book Castle will be open for one day, and will give our students the opportunity to purchase one new book for ONLY $1.00.  On January 19, the Book Castle will open.

Please consider supporting the Canner Book Castle. It is a great way to help encourage the love of reading.

    • Class Dojo is the easiest and fastest way to communicate with me. It is also a great way to stay up-to-date on school events, classwork, and important accnouncmets.
