• Welcome to your child’s classroom!

Welcome to our 4th-grade class! My name is Mr. Gomez. I will be your child’s Language Arts, English, and Social Studies teacher. You can learn more about me on my About the Teacher page.

I am enthusiastic about the 2021-2022 school year. We have a group of fantastic students entering 4th grade, and there are limitless possibilities ahead for learning. As a new 4th grader, your child is transitioning into a learning environment where there is more responsibility in the classroom, assignments and homework. With your help, we can make this transition a success. This website is a resource to help you learn more about what is expected, as well as a guide to various supplemental resources. For example, weekly Reading Unit Review activities from our Wonders Reading Program will be posted to the Reading/Language Arts link. This website will be an extension of our in-person classroom. For example, you will find information about  subjects, classroom activities, expectations, and upcoming classroom events. Updates to pages will occur on a regular basis, so please continually check back for new information.

As we go through the school year, if you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me by phone, email, or Class Dojo.

Let’s make it a great year!

    Sincerely,

    Mr. Gomez

  •  Here are a few reminders:

    • Class Dojo is the easiest and fastest way to communicate with me. It is also a great way to stay up-to-date on school events, classwork, and important accnouncmets.

    • Please remember to label all of your child's belongings with his or her full name. This allows for lost belongings to be returned to your child.

    • The Monday folders (GOLD COLOR) are distributed evey Monday, and they are due back on Wednesday of the same week.  In this folder you will find graded work from the week, important information about upcoming events, and papers that need to be returned back to school with your signature. It is very important that you look through the entire folder. At this moment, their isn't any graded work.
