My name is Mr. Ramsey, and I have been the gifted support teacher at Upper Adams Middle School since 2013. I am also a member of our district's website maintenance team.

   I am a proud alumnus of Clarion University of Pennsylvania, where I received two major degrees (B.S. communication- 2006, B.S.E. English education-2008) along with several minor degrees. As a student, I was honored as a multiple-time winner of the Chautauqua Writers Scholarship and was a long-standing member of WCUB- Clarion's local television station. More recently, I graduated from Millersville University with my M.Ed. in English Education. 

   After graduation, I moved to South Carolina, where I taught two years of high school English at Lake City High School. It was a tremendous experience that molded my views and perceptions as a teacher. At the end of my second year, my wife and I returned to Pennsylvania, where I substituted for multiple districts before beginning as the G&T teacher at Upper Adams Middle School.

   In my spare time I enjoy playing guitar, listening to music, and spending time with my daughter.
