Welcome to the Upper Adams School District Transportation Department

 

Upper Adams School District contracts daily bus transportation with Weaver’s Bus Service and Jacoby Transportation. UASD also contracts van & alternative transportation with Jacoby Transportation, Rolling Hills Transit, and Buckled In. The district also owns several of our own vehicles for athletic and extracurricular trips.

 

Our mission is to provide safe, reliable, and timely transportation to the more than 1,500 students and their families we serve every day. Please keep the following transportation guidelines in mind:

 

• Students are only allowed to ride their assigned bus to their designated stop for safety and capacity reasons.
• Requests to temporarily change a student’s bus or bus stop should be reserved only for emergency situations after all efforts have been made to privately transport the student. Such requests must be made in writing to your student’s building and will be considered by district administration.
• Students must follow the bus rules and obey the driver at all times.
• Be at the bus stop and ready 5 minutes before the morning pick up time.
• Kindergarten students must have someone at the stop to put them on and take them off the bus.
• Students can have a different morning and afternoon bus stop, but these must be consistent for all 5 days of the week.

 

Requests to permanently change a bus stop or update transportation to a new address can be made at your student’s building or by contacting the transportation department using the information below.
