The Board of School Directors at the Upper Adams School District recently appointed Dr. Don Bell to serve as our Acting Superintendent.  Dr. Bell brings 19 years of Superintendent experience.  He retired as Superintendent of Northern Lebanon School District and most recently served as Acting Superintendent at Littlestown Area School District.  Dr. Bell lives in Dillsburg and is excited to lead our District while the Board searches for our next permanent Superintendent.  Dr. Bell will overlap with Dr. Doll during the week of January 6, 2025 and they will visit our district schools together for introductions to make a smooth transition.  Dr. Bell begins service immediately after Dr. Doll’s last day on Friday, January 10, 2025.  The Upper Adams School Directors expect Dr. Bell to be at Upper Adams School District through the remainder of the 2024-2025 school year.  As you see Dr. Bell in the Upper Adams School District, please join us in welcoming him to our school community.
