Hello! My name is Mrs. Johnson, and I am the Instructional Support Teacher for the 2018-2019 school year!
I have been teaching for 10 years, and I have enjoyed every minute. I began my teaching career as a learning support teacher at Bendersville Elementary. I then taught 2nd and 3rd grade at Bermudian Springs Elementary. In 2011, I came back to Bendersville Elementary as a 4th grade team member. In 2015, I joined the 5th grade team at Arendstville Elementary. Finally, I transitioned into the role of Instructional Support Teacher for Arendtsville and Bendersville Elementaries in the 2018-2019 school year. I received my undergraduate degree from Shippensburg University, and Master's of Education degree in Educational Leadership and Strategies from Wilke University.
I was born in Gettysburg, PA, and have lived in the area for my entire life. In my spare time, I enjoy doing the following things; hiking, cooking, waterskiing, and spending time with my family. My husband and I were married in 2013, we welcomed our first son, Elliot, in December 2015, and we welcomed our daughter, Lila, in September 2017.
