• Dear 5th grade students and families,

We hope that you are as excited about coming to fifth grade as we are to meet you! We are looking forward to lots of fun, lots of laughter, and, most importantly, lots of learning. Students will switch classes throughout the day, so they will have the opportunity to get to know all of the fifth grade teachers.

What to bring to fifth grade:

    • water bottle with your name on it
    • three-ring zippered pencil pouch
    • a set of earbuds for personal use
    • art shirt (large t-shirt that can be messy)

→ Please do not purchase a binder. One will be provided for you.

    Behavior System/Communication with Parents:
Class Dojo – We will send log-in information home during the first week of school. We will track your child’s behavior using this system, and you will be able to see the daily report for your child. This system can also be used as a communication tool between the teachers and your family. Visit https://youtu.be/Rzzb5cmNoc0 to learn more!

    Donation Requests:
There are many items that help our classrooms run smoothly, and keep your children healthy.  Tissues, hand sanitizer, and Clorox wipes are always a need in our classrooms, especially as the weather turns cold. Whiteboard markers are also always something we need.

Fifth grade is a year full of great learning experiences!
