    Revised Delta Dental Benefit Summary
    Effective 7-1-2017
     
    A revised dental benefit summary is attached.  The requirement for over age 19 dependents to be a full time student was removed from the benefit summary.   As a reminder, this requirement was removed and over 19 dependents may remain or be enrolled in the vision and dental insurance effective July 1, 2017.  The deadline to send an enrollment/change form to re-enroll a dependent who was removed under the previous requirement is May 12.

    All employees who are eligible for benefits received an envelope via interoffice mail with information regarding benefits, changes and costs.   Please read all information and contact me if you have any questions, or would like to set up a meeting to discuss your benefits options.
     
    Remember
    • An acknowledgement of benefits is included in the packet you received, that must be signed and returned by all eligible employees, even if you are not changing your benefits or are not enrolled in benefits. 
    • Spousal eligibility forms are required annually for all spouses covered on district health insurance.  Spousal eligibility forms will be included in your packet. ​
    • Enrollment/change forms must be completed and returned for you and your dependents.
    • Deadline for paperwork to be returned is Friday, May 12.
    Mandatory SafeSchools Policy Acknowledgements and Trainings
     
    Please be sure to visit the SafeSchools website at https://upperadams-pa.safeschools.com/login
    to see if there are any policy acknowledgements or trainings you have not completed.  Your login name is your district e-mail address.  
     
    The district will continue to communicate important policy changes using SafeSchools as this is a paperless method to acknowledge that everyone has received the new or revised policies.  If you do not have time to read the policy, you may print it and read it later, but be sure to acknowledge where indicated that you have received the policy.
     
    Required trainings should be completed by the deadline date so that the district remains compliant in all district and federal regulations.  You should speak with your supervisor if you need to schedule time to complete any trainings.
    The district goal is to have a report at the end of each school year for all policy acknowledgements or trainings that will show all staff at 100% completion.

    New Policies for All UASD Employees to Review (Mandatory)
     
    The policies listed below, have been added to the SafeSchools training portal for all UASD staff to review.  It is mandatory that all staff review the policies.  You are not required to print a certificate, you only need to acknowledge that you have received the policy.  If you do not have time to read it, you may print it off and read it at a later time, just be sure to acknowledge that you have received it.  The deadline for reviewing the policies is May 12.
