Please review the benefit summaries for your specific plan.  The PPO Blue benefit summary  and Rx summary is comparable to the traditional Capital Blue Cross PPO 250 HRA (Health Reimbursement Arrangement).  The PPO Blue Healthy Savings benefit summary is comparable to the Capital Blue Cross HSA (Health Savings Account).

A Preventative Schedule from Highmark is also attached for your review.  Please bring any questions regarding this schedule to the Open Enrollment Meeting.

Provider Listing For Highmark Blue Shield
All members should review the provider list for Highmark Blue Shield, to see if your current providers are listed.  You can also call your provider to see if they accept Highmark Blue Shield.
A provider list for Highmark Blue Shield can be found on their website at www.highmarkblueshield.com .  Click on the "Find a Doctor or RX" tab at the top, a box will open with provider types to search from, choose the type you want to search for, and then follow the directions on the Highmark Provider Search instructions attached to this e-mail.
Benefit cost sheets will be provided to everyone at the Open Enrollment meetings.

Bring your questions with you to the Open Enrollment meeting.  It is important that everyone try to attend one of these meetings.  If you cannot attend, the information will be available after May 19, on the "For Staff" page of the district website.
