Degrees and Certifications:
Mrs. Kimberly Jenkins
As the school guidance counselor, I wear many hats. I teach a class called Skills for Adolescence, do brief counseling meetings for students, assist in career planning, connect parents and students to outside resources, sit on the Student Assistance Program (SAP), collaborate with parents, students, teachers, administration, dean of students, etc., and perform whatever else is needed to help make our students successful. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Lafayette College in Easton, PA, and my Master’s degree in School Counseling from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, CA. I spent the first 8 years in Upper Adams School District as the school counselor at Arendtsville and Bendersville Elementary, and then had the opportunity to move up to Upper Adams Middle School. I have many hobbies and interests, but enjoy spending time with my family the most.
